Each carpet has a different warranty which ranges from 5 to 20 years. Most have a 30 or 60 Day Satisfaction Assurance Guarantee.

What does "30 or 60 Day Satisfaction Assurance Guarantee" mean?

It means that if you don't like the carpet, the manufacturer will replace it with a similar or higher priced carpet, no questions asked. However, you are responsible for shipping and labor costs. If you claim that the carpet is defective, an independent inspector will come to your house to inspect the carpet. His report will be final. There are 2 possibilities:

Carpet is defective: it'll be replaced at no cost to you.
Carpet is not defective: "Satisfaction Assurance Guarantee" will be voided.
