  • Q. Are there other charges involved with the price listed?

  • A. Yes: cut-outs and  plumbing are extra.

  • Q: Who does the plumbing?

  • A: Customer is responsible for plumbing. We can recommend one for you.

  • Q: How long does the whole process take?

  • A: 1 to 2 weeks. Actual granite installation takes 1 day.

  • Q: What happens to backsplash?

  • A: Backsplash sits on top of countertops and it'll be damaged.  You need to get a new backsplash. 

  • Q: Can I view the slab?

  • A: Yes, you can go to the slab yard and tag the slab.

  • Q: What's the standard granite thickness?

  • A: 2 or 3 centimeters.

  • Q: Do cut outs like stove tops count when measuring for countertops?

  • A: Yes. You buy a rectangular piece of slab.

  • Q. Can I use the granite that remains from a sink or cook-top cutout?

  • A.  No. There is usually no granite left over from a cutout. The granite for the cutouts is generally destroyed in the process of creating the cutout. Large diameter drills are used together with diagonal saw cuts to remove the cutout.
